THE TOP END WITH ANIMAL DEPICTIONS,STYLISED SHRUBS & PLANT FORMS,STAR SHAPED ROSETTES AND OTHER TRIBAL DEVICES ON A DARK BROWN/BLACK GROUND COLOUR.
THE OUTER RECIPROCAL GUARD STRIPE WITH A JEWEL-LIKE BLUE COLOUR.
IT IS QUITE IRREGULAR IN A VERY ATTRACTIVE AND TRIBAL WAY AND INDICATES IT WAS WOVEN ON A PRIMITIVE HORIZONTAL LOOM WHICH WAS POSSIBLY MOVED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS THUS CREATING DIFFERENT TENSIONS IN THE WARP THREADS ONE SIDE BEING LONGER THAN THE OTHER AND THE WAVY EFFECT AT THE BOTTOM END.
